OMG DENTISTS ARE FREAKING SCARY!!!!

BIG NEWS people! I just had my FIRST oral surgery today. And it sucked - not something I wanna remember actually. =C
Anyway, I had the surgery to remove my wisdom teeth that were starting to hurt me, making it hard for me to enjoy eating my food. And now, I can't even EAT my food. -_-" Why on earth did I make this choice? Okay, I'll try to explain as much in detail on what the surgery was like.
IT WAS PURE TORTURE!
I think that pretty much sums up my whole experience. K lar, I'll tell you the procedure...only the ones that I can remember though.
First of all, was the freaking long wait. Siaw lah, I hate waiting okay! What's the point I make appointments only to be delayed a few more hours?
Then I got rushed into this cubicle - yes, this dental office looks like a factory of some sort. And they had this needle injected into my arm the same way a blood test is done. Then, they strapped on this bag that detects your blood pressure. It was some advance machine with a bunch of wires which they told me to put on my upper chest and stomach. I don't know what it's for...but I discovered something cool!
The beeps coming from the machines were actually my heartbeat. ^_^ Hahaha, I didn't realize it until after a while. Cuz I was so nervous and afraid my heart was like beating super fast and I was actually mad at the annoying beeping machine for being so noisy. Then I told myself to calm down cuz they're not gonna kill me or anything, AND THE MACHINE'S BEEP DROPPED SIGNIFICANTLY in just a matter of seconds! LoL! I think the doctor thought I was crazy cuz my heartbeat was so inconsistent. Always trying to calm down but getting all hyped up and nervous over and over again. Damn sia soi lor.
I was given a sedation. A sedation is something like anesthetics except you don't fall asleep.
"Overall it went VERY well ... amnesia is very strange! My experience: I took .25 of Halcion at 9 AM... felt sleepy and just a bit dizzy, but chatted with my friend during the 20 minute drive... At the dentist office they took my blood pressure, set up the pulse-ox on my finger, and started oxygen. As soon as the IV was started in my arm - I have no further memory of anything! My friend said that during the procedure I would bring my hand up toward my face and draw my knees up but when the assistant told me to put my hand or knees down, I did... When I woke up, the assistant, the dentist and my friend told me to swing my legs around and stand up ... which I did very slowly ... my friend said it took me about a half hour to get from the dentist chair to the car. The Dentist and my friend were very patient and gentle w/ encouraging me to open my eyes (!), stand up and walk... I would have preferred to sleep! I have no memory of the ride home, but felt very relaxed and comfortable." Click here to read more.
OMG, when I read that I so so so don't wanna go for the surgery. It sounds so sakai okay! I don't like being sakai. OMG, the nurse can bully me without me knowing, can? Half an hour to get from the dentist chair to the car?! Freaking sia soi lar! And goodness me, HANA was like, "HAHAHA. I WANNA GO WITH U AND KACAU YOU!" What a useless sister!
But unfortunately, I went for it and then you know what?!
I woke up and got home.
What? *hehe* I couldn't remember anything after that okay! I'm so sorry, I guess in the end I can't tell you what happened cuz they totally erased my memory just like that. I remember sleeping. OMG, was I even alseep?! I don't know. All I know was the doctor injecting that med into my arm and, and, I don't know what happened after. =(
When I got up all the machines and wires and needles and wtv were all GONE. O_o Ai si! What happened to the wire straps that were on me?! OMG OMG OMG, did they reach into my shirt and take it off?! AHHHH~ No wonder they say must wear lose clothing so they won't have to battle with my tight shirt upon removing those wires!
AHHHH AHHHHH AHHHHH!
Wait, or did I take it off myself?
YOU KNOW WHAT, I have absolutely NO memories whatsoever about the whole surgery process. I don't even know how they got my teeth out. It's like all the way inside my mouth. DID THEY FORCE THEIR HANDS IN AND DIG IT OUT? Omg, did I have bad breath? I didn't eat or drink anything since I woke up cuz it wasn't allowed! And to think they had to look into it and extract my teeth. Shoot man. Eeeew, I'm so disgusted liaw. I dun wanna eat anything anymore for the next few weeks.
Speaking of eating, I didn't eat anything from 7.30 am till now can! (it's like 11.49pm) Apple sauce don't count. It's not food. Siaw, I am gonna be so skinny and pretty now. Just you wait.
Oh, and in case your wondering, I had four teeth extracted. *ouch* I know.
I don't know what's going on but I have the urge to throw up. I don't know if it's because I've been drooling and swallowing blood for the past few hours or because I haven't eaten anything and the apple sauce is upsetting my stomach. *grimace*
Bah. Good night.
p/S: The surgery costs like $350 and that's only for the medication and sedation. It costs $200 for every tooth extracted. Wth, like why is dental fee so expensive in America? I didn't even get to keep my teeth! *pouts* Oh and, wanted to show you my swollen face but decided not to cuz u might faint right after that.
