Goodbye Curls~ *sobz*
Hello~
Went for a hair cut yesterday at ELBA and told her that I wanted it short. So, she cut off whatever curls that I have left...leaving my hair straight.
I am actually kinda sad to part with my curls, so let me right a message to my curls. Stop snickering. -_-
But before that, here's and old picture of me with my hair at it's curliest:

Dear Curls,
It took me a really long time before I decided to have you. I was afraid that the you wouldn't suit me, and that you were high maintenance -- and indeed you are. But anyway, after months of blowing my hair straight, I finally got tired of it, and decided that perhaps if I got it curled, then I wouldn't have to worry about unruly layered hair...and that was the best decision of my life. It costs me a good 160 bucks to get you, but I was so satisfied with the result. For the first time in my life, I had volumous hair! And honestly, maintaining you wasn't so hard after all, so I was happy. But then, time passed, and all good things never last forever. My relationship with you got tough when you started splitting, and many times you were disobedient and unruly. I have thought about getting rid of you, but I wasn't willing to part with you just yet...so I kept you for as long as possible...telling the hairdresser to merely trim the dry edges off. That kept you for another good 5 months.
However, you continued to rebel against me, making me look bad. I couldn't stand it anymore. Of course, I wanted to get you fixed, but it was too costly, and I didn't trust that the hairdressers would do a good job. Day after day, I had to deal with the frizziness, and fight through the tangles with you. I hated it, so I covered the flaws we had with a hairband. But that didn't last long. I guess you can never really hide flaws no matter how hard you try after all. So one day, I told my hairdresser that I didn't want you anymore. It was the toughest decision of my life, really. I'm sorry I had to part with you. But I guess we weren't meant to be anymore. I'll still miss you though. Maybe someday we'll get back together?
Love,
Ariel.

Anyway! New hair! Or rather, back to old straight hair...

Yes, I know this photo is very ID like but wth. The only camera available was the webcam k!
I like my curls quite a lot, but I think it's about time I got straight hair again. Kinda forgotten how I looked like with straight hair. Hmm, now that I think about it, I look just like any other Asian. Okay, I feel so un-special right now...but I can't find a hairdresser that I trust yet. Angmoh hairdressers aren't the same as Asian hairdressers, you know. I don't care if you debate with me saying hair is just hair. Well, your armpit hair and head's hair same or not har? No right? Okay, fine, you can argue that one's on your head and another is on your body so it's not the same. Your mustache and hair the same meh? Aside from the slightly different locations, both are on the head, isn't it? Same goes to your armpit hair and leg hair...same meh?
Therefore: Angmoh hair does not equal Asian hair.
Besides, I prefer Japanese hairstyles more than American/hollywood ones. And I believe a Japanese hairdresser would know more about Japanese hairstyles than white hairdressers and vice versa.
So anyway, I dunno. Do think I should get curly hair again or maybe some highlights?
