TGIF - 3 midterms in one blow!

It's Friiiidaaaaayyyy!! Omg, thank goodness. This week couldn't have felt any longer. Had three midterms this week and many sleepless nights just going over all the stuff because there isn't enough time in a day to go to class, get homework done (IKR, it's so evil to assign homework on exam week!), and study at the same time. Technically speaking, students are supposed to regularly review their notes so that when exams come around they wouldn't panic, but seriously though, who has time to do all that when assignments, projects, and husbands who want to come home to a dinner and a clean house are bombarding you on a daily basis? OK, fine, I may have neglected cleaning/tidying duties. But you get the drift.

Anyway, I am just so glad that the weekend is finally here! Can't wait to just sleep party! And by party, I really mean going back to Oakland to celebrate John's dad's birthday because his oldest sis decided to come back for a surprise visit. I was honestly looking forward to a really chill and low-key weekend with the hubs, but family obligations are family obligations. Sigh. Not to mention we kinda went over our budget this month because we spent so much money hanging out with friends, buying a new phone to replace a broken one, buying plane tickets to visit parents in the summertime, and just eating out more often since I didn't have time to cook a few meals. So that means we're practically at the bottom of the well in money supply, and yet we have to spend more money this weekend? Noooo~

I'm kind worried about what will transpire over the next few days. Ever since the "text" incident from my previous post, John and I haven't spoken to his other sister. Not like she'd talk to us anyway even if we did I suppose. I wonder if things would be painfully awkward when we meet up tomorrow for the dinner celebration. I'm not sure how to act around her. I don't particularly care that she hates me, so do I go on being normal? Or is that rude? Would that piss her off more? Or is it something I shouldn't be too concerned about since it's her who's doing the hating on her part and I can't do anything about it? I mean usually I'm very neutral/"don't care" in situations when people dislike me, but since she is my sister-in-law, I wonder if I'm obligated to behave differently. Ehhhh, whatever. We'll see how it goes.

Anyway, I think it's time for a nap to make up for all the lost hours of sleep. Here's hoping that the weekend don't suck and that I'll be able to get in some reaaallly good R&R.
