Lazy Monday
I really should be studying, but I am a procrastinator, so I'm procrastinating, haha. My parents and sisters just left yesterday after spending another day and a half with us while on their way back to San Diego.
I guess I haven't gotten back into the study groove yet, since I've had so much fun in that short day and a half. We got to play CLUE together, and discovered that Diane is so bad at logic games. Hahaha, she kept asking the same questions one after another just to single out items instead of making intuitive deductions. We also went swimming in the large swimming pool that nobody ever uses for some strange reason, even though it is so pretty. So we pretty much had the whole pool to ourselves!
Oh, since my family is so large, we were able to have a fun game of Marco Polo. Tbh, I've never played that game before, but it was so fun! Basically someone has to be blindfolded and has to "tag" other players by relying on sound. So, the catcher will go "Marco", and all players must respond "Polo" whether they like it or not haha. John was a swimmer in high school so I don't think it was fair that he was so fast at moving in the water and catching us all.
I'm so sad that it went by so fast. As much as I love the married life, I miss my family a lot every now and then. I wish I lived closer so I can visit more often, but perhaps that's what makes each visit more precious the way things are now.
Sigh, Bickie's wedding will be this weekend, so I really have to stay focused on schoolwork to not fall behind, but I can't seem to find the motivation at all. I wonder if his sister would still be mad once her wedding is over? I am so relieved that it's finally here. Not sure why. I mean, before the whole drama I was genuinely excited and happy for her. These days...I wouldn't say I'm not excited since I know it's going to be a fancy event, but I guess the joy kinda became strained when she refused to participate in any family events since my wedding. But I look forward to it nonetheless. Probably because she hyped it up for sooooo long and made such a huge deal out of it that I started to feel as if the day would never come.
Hopefully all things go well, especially after John's parents' house caught on fire and the complications that ensued the weekend before her wedding. *fingers crossed* Just the thought of the stress she must be facing makes me feel so relieved that I'm already married. *phew~* ^_^
Till next time.
