I failed

Here it is. The "I failed" post. But yeap, I already knew I wasn't fully prepared, but when I got way more multivariate distribution problems than all the practice exams I've taken combined, I knew my chances were even slimmer. It didn't help that I couldn't focus because the test center was SO STRICT about test taking. No water, no using your own pencils, no erasers, nothing. If you wanted a drink of water, you'd have to check out and then get a full body scan before checking back into the test center, which takes about two minutes or more. How awful.

I tried to go without drinking any water because I didn't wanna pee, but halfway through I was so thirsty, I had to check out. I started getting headache as well...but ignored it. I should've taken those signs as warnings, but I didn't and went out with my friend (who also took the test and failed) to get some cake after. Now, I'm terribly sick. Ugh. Haven't been able to eat anything.

Perhaps I had already been starting to get sick before the exam, since I hadn't had good sleep the few nights before because John was sick and I was nursing him. I was hoping I wouldn't catch what he had. But I guess I'm not that invulnerable. Sigh.

Well, gonna rest up and then try again in July.

Being asked to prom for the first time.

OMG SOME GUY ASK ME TO PROM WEI HOW HOW HOW?! I am asking you how how how not cuz I dunno how to tell him "yes". Rather, it's me not knowing if i wanna say "yes" or "no". And I have to tell him that by tomorrow! Omg, pressure much? I am asking you how how how cuz um, well, honestly, I would like to know what all the hype about prom is about but am not willing to pay for the price of the ticket. He on the other hand would pay for the ticket for me. =) BUT, I don't think I wanna go with him lah. What makes you look forward to living each day?

"If you find the answer to this, you'll lead a meaningful and purposeful life." Or so I heard. I don't know for sure, since I haven't found the answer myself. What do I look forward to every morning I awaken? Seeing John's face and having breakfast with him. Finding an activity we can participate in together while having fun. Making food for the family (I currently live in a party house). Finding new recipes, trying them out, and being successful in the attempt. What would I do if I had endless supply of money and did not have to work another day of my life for income? I don't know. I like my shiny things. And shiny things to me usually means fancy food. I suppose I have interests in clothes and appearances, but I've survived long enough without that and found myself relatively happy.
