Blogger is so ugly

I've been going back and forth with my blog design for awhile now, and if you're one of the few who still reads it, I apologize if I've disrupted your reading experience, lol. I am feeling kind of annoyed because I find Blogger's templates so...ugly. Some of the simple ones are pretty nice, but in terms of designs, Blogger is pretty outdated. I see tons of pretty, clean, and very minimalistic yet personal blogs on Wordpress and Wix, and I can't help but think of switching over to those domains multiple times. The only is that I've been on here since I was 16, and even though I hate Blogger's templates enough to contemplate switching, I am not at the point where I'm willing to read through the importing instructions for my older posts and pictures. 

The other solution I thought up was to find blogskins (remember those?) that can give a more updated look or vibe, but alas there aren't anymore developers/creators in the Blogger circle who'd be willing to do it. I *could* pick up some CSS (since I know a bit), but again, too lazy. I guess I am too lazy for everything except complaining, lol.

If you know a better way to go about this, let me know. Otherwise, don't mind the ever-changing template.
