Random update

10 months into the year and I've lost a total of 22 lbs! Okay, so that's like 2.2 lbs a month on average which is less impressive, but 22 stinkin' lbs is a lot when you think about it! If you can lose 22 lbs in less than a year, then you can likewise gain 22 lbs in 1 year as well. How scary is that?

A majority of my weight loss happened in the earlier parts of the year, and as my weight dropped significantly, so did the rate of my weight loss. I originally planned to get to 165 lbs by the end of this year (very modest amount) but am now at 158 lbs. (I debated wanting to post my weight on an online platform but whatever, it's not like MFP doesn't know how heavy I am haha.) That's only 3 lbs away from my 2-year-plan goal weight!

Now I feel as if I should lower my goal weight to my high school one at 148 lbs, but I'm really enjoying these delicious burrito bowl with all the guacamole, sour cream, and frijoles fixings. I sometimes wonder if it's worth being lean at the expense of yummy food, and then other times I wonder if being gluttonous over healthy is worth it either. Dilemma.

I'm adjusting to meal-prepping again ever since I've moved back home to Sac, but have been struggling to become more productive with my time. In some sense, I am dreading going back to school and want to take this opportunity to relax after a long stressful year of working and studying for the actuarial field as well as just working out a lot, but the other side of me is already pressuring myself to start preparing for the school year lest I regret the overwhelming amount of work should I procrastinate too much.

Maybe my next year goal should be to learn how to take a chill pill and just relax. Ha!
